Extraction

Ultra-Cold Ethanol Extraction

We exclusively extract hemp flower which is where the vast majority of cannabinoids and terpenes reside in the plant. These therapeutic compounds are selectively extracted using ultra-cold, food-grade ethanol. The ethanol is then removed through a series of vacuum-assisted distillations. This proprietary process was designed in-house by our team of chemical engineers.

Finally found a CBD/CBG that hubby only has to take one dropper full and has very little pain. He has chronic neck & back pain due to being a crane operator for 40+ years.

That's wonderful to hear! We're so glad our product is making a positive difference for your husband. Thank you for sharing your experience and support in BATCH!

Not As Good As Expected

I've had insomnia for over 20 years and have taken other CBD/THC indica type of tinctures that worked better at a cheaper price point. I expected a nice drowsy feeling to make me sleep. It took over 2 hours to actually get to sleep. For a "gold reservation" tincture at a premium price of over $100, I expected it to be more effective.

Outstanding product!

I have been suffering from a few minor issues since a brain surgery in 2020. This is the only CBD/CBG supplements on the market that helped alleviate my On going problems. If your looking for the best CBD products that will do what science says CBDs can do…this is it!! Thank you Batch for your superior quality

Best Sh!% Ever

We had been purchasing a great and effective, high quality compound of CBD and CBG from a local functional medicine practitioner for about two years when, for personal reasons, we decided to part ways with her. As the oil blend was produced by and sourced from a family friend of hers, and not able to be purchased from anyone else, we were left to find - in a market saturated with SO many less than par and untrustworthy brands and blends - a new source. Needless to say, UGH!

I did a ton of hunting online, had a LOT of conversations with a good number of “suppliers”, and wound up finding BATCH in my online searches. YAY!

Initially, it was the clear and simple marketing, the packaging, and the fact that the company is small and homegrown, but then we quickly realized I had made the right choice because of the EFFICACY of the products.

And THEN, we began to receive the little treasures in our monthly deliveries; the tiny and portable samples of of some of the other oil blends, the pillow spray (John loves it and uses it every night!), the coffee mug… and that tote bag tho!

Thank you BATCH FAM. Great job. In a world where truth in marketing, great customer service, and efficacy and quality of so many products - especially when it comes to supplements and ANYTHING related to “the latest” trend - is so very hard to find; GREAT f’ing JOB. Well done. We appreciate you.

Gold Reserve Blend

I've tried several different brands of cbd on the market and this is by far the most superior. Just half an mL will take dissolve any stress and promote relaxation. The added terpenes are also a major plus, giving off a subtle and delicious lemony-pine flavor. They are also great for enhancing the effects of the cbd. I am also very happy with the addition of cbg, which you don't find in many other cbd products. Last but not least is the price, which is considerably lower than most cbd products with this concentration of cbd. I will be ordering this again and recommending to my friends.

This is the one

Calm in a bottle. When my mind is racing, little more than a quarter dropper melts the stress away. A few drops early-evening work with my nightly dose of dream tincture to ease me into the most restful sleep I've ever had. I use CBD for stress relief and as a sleep aid - Gold reserve absolutely gets the job done.

Full Spectrum CBG Oil Overview

You may already be familiar with cannabinoids like THC, CBD, CBN, and Delta-8 THC. However, that isn't even close to being the entire cannabis product line. As time goes on, more hemp compounds are gaining attention for their beneficial or useful qualities.

CBG, a cannabinoid, is one of these substances and is present in our full-spectrum CBD+CBG Oil. Other terms might or might not be as well-known. It can be confusing to use terms like broad spectrum" and "full spectrum." When you add words like tinctures, oils, and edibles to that, it could make newcomers feel a little out of the loop.

Naturally, the question of whether to begin using CBG oil might arise, given its rich history.

We want to assist you in determining your unique response because everyone is different. Let's explore the specifics of CBG oil to gain a better understanding. What does "full-spectrum" mean in relation to CBG? What's the big deal with full-spectrum CBG oil even better?

What Is CBG?

The building block for other cannabinoids is CBG or cannabigerol. It contains every bioactive component found in hemp, which allows it to degrade into other cannabinoids like CBG, CBD, CBC, and THC. A full-spectrum CBG is non-intoxicating, so unlike CBD, it won't get you high. They may have anti-inflammatory effects and operate on the same CB1 and CB2 receptors in the body.

The therapeutic effects of CBG are still largely unknown because it is a more recent product on the market. On the other hand, a ton of research has already been done on the advantages of CBD. But given the rising interest in CBG, more study is likely to become available.

Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) are the two most well-known cannabinoids, though there are more than 100 different varieties. THC has a potent psychoactive effect, whereas CBD has the opposite effect and helps to reduce the intensity of the THC "high."

The most prevalent cannabinoids in hemp are CBG and CBD, but they are only present in small amounts during the blooming stage. Similar to CBD, CBG has no psychoactive effects. Despite acting essentially on the same receptors as other cannabinoids, CBG can also have different effects on the body's ECS.

When taken in full-spectrum form or in combination with other cannabinoids, CBG has a wide range of therapeutic uses.

Differences Between CBD and CBG Oil?

Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a cannabinoid that is present in large amounts in type II (THC/CBD dominant) and type III (CBD-dominant) cannabis and hemp plants. Its scientific name is cannabidiol. CBD was first separated from cannabis in the late 1930s and then ignored until researchers became interested in its anticonvulsant properties in the 1970s.

However, over time CBD has risen to prominence in recent years as a result of the variety of therapeutic advantages it provides. Some of the less desirable effects of THC, such as anxiety, paranoia, and impaired cognitive function, may be lessened by CBD.

The entourage effect, a phenomenon known as CBD and THC together, generally provides more significant therapeutic benefits than cannabinoids alone, according to research.

CBD influences the endocannabinoid system via a number of physiological mechanisms. It binds to several other endocannabinoid system receptors in addition to having a partial affinity for the CB1 and CB2 receptors. Its physiological mechanisms of action are still poorly understood.

Molecular Structure

The molecular structures of cannabidiol and cannabigerol are distinct. The quantity and configuration of the hydrogen, carbon and oxygen atoms that make up a cannabinoid are referred to as its molecular structure.

Because CBD and CBG's molecular structures are different, they have different three-dimensional shapes. As a result, they bind to the body's cannabinoid receptors differently and have different physiological effects.

The bioavailability and degree of water solubility of a cannabinoid are both influenced by its molecular structure.

Pharmacology

The way that CBD and CBG activate receptors also differs. CBD's affinity for the 5-HT1A receptor, which it does by acting as an agonist, appears to be how it exerts its anti-nausea effects (activator).

On the other hand, CBG acts as a 5-HT1A receptor antagonist (blocker). The results demonstrated that pre-treatment with CBG prevented CBD's antiemetic effects, indicating that the two cannabinoids bind to the same receptor but act in opposite ways there.

Appetite Stimulation

CBG differs from CBD in an important way when it comes to appetite stimulation. Rats were given doses of CBG in studies, and the animals were stimulated to consume more food than usual.

Preclinical research has demonstrated that CBG can significantly increase rat appetite, as was already mentioned. The therapeutic importance of this discovery was emphasized in a 2017 study, which noted that purified CBG might be a novel for appetite loss in people.

What Is Full Spectrum CBG?

The building block for other cannabinoids is CBG or cannabigerol. It contains every bioactive component found in hemp, which allows it to convert into other cannabinoids like CBD, CBC, and THC.

But given the rising interest in CBG, more research is likely to become available.

What Is CBG Oil Good For?

CBG offers a wide range of health benefits in all its forms, most frequently as an ingredient in a formula or as a standalone CBG oil. Additionally, CBG offers a variety of advantages for skin care as well as advantages for the mind and body.

Skincare Benefits

For healthy, well-nourished skin, CBG is often considered for its antibacterial properties. It is a common remedy for irritation, inflammation, and undesirable blemishes.

CBG is a crucial addition to an effective, straightforward skincare regimen. It's a proactive way to maintain healthy, clear, and happy skin. However, be sure to discuss using CBG with your dermatologist or primary care physician.

CBG's Mental Benefits

CBG may also function as a potent regulator of mental health, depending on the sources. Many people discover that CBG oil can be used similarly to CBD oils, reducing stress and calming anxiety.

Our physical and mental health can suffer greatly from stress, anxiety, and depression.

Always seek medical advice from a professional before relying on CBG oil or supplement.

Physical Benefits of CBG

CBG may help with inflammation which is the root cause of many health ailments. This makes it a promising natural remedy for a wide variety of people.

With this recently recognized cannabinoid, we're onto something really big. Although it isn't really new at all, it is now becoming part of our vocabulary. We're only now beginning to tap into its enormous benefits for a healthy lifestyle as a society that is focused on finding health solutions.

What are the Therapeutic Effects of CBG?

Several preclinical studies provide information on some of the potential therapeutic effects of CBG, despite the fact that no clinical trials have examined the effects of CBG on humans.

Though more human trials are obviously required, CBG won't make you high or other psychoactive effects, but it may have additional therapeutic advantages that could help with the following conditions.

What Makes CBG Oil So Unique?

Let's first examine the characteristics that cannabigerol shares with other cannabinoids before delving too deeply into what makes CBG so special. For instance, there are many similarities between CBD and CBG.

To begin with, neither substance is intoxicating. Neither CBD nor CBG has the same psychoactive effects as the notorious THC.

However, these non-psychoactive substances frequently serve as a kind of enhancer for other cannabinoids. The well-known phenomenon, also referred to as the entourage effect, happens between hemp compounds.

But once more, what distinguishes CBG?

Despite having similar therapeutic effects, CBG and CBD differ from one another in certain ways.

Their molecular structure is one feature that stands out. They are still entirely different molecules even though they are nearly identical, like all cannabinoids. This directly affects how each substance engages with endocannabinoid receptors in our body.

Those receptors are activated by CBG in various ways. Yes, cannabigerol can activate our CB receptors.

Actually, CBG and CBD can cause opposite reactions in some parts of the brain. The induction of appetite is one instance. Studies are still being conducted to determine how much CBG affects our ECS. Its interactions with the brain have not all been fully mapped as a result. What we do know, however, holds a lot of promise.

Potential Benefits of Full-Spectrum CBG Oil

Why is CBG important to note if there are over 100 cannabinoids in total? The answer is in the uses it might have.

You may already be aware of the wonderful range of potential advantages that CBD may offer. CBD is undoubtedly enticing due to its potential to reduce appetite and provide relief from nausea, inflammation, and some types of chronic pain.

To increase the concentration, CBD is added as an isolate to mixtures of full-spectrum and broad-spectrum cannabinoids. The likelihood that it will interact with our ECS in the desired way increases with greater bioavailability.

The same justification holds true for CBG. The emphasis on CBG and its properties may either complement CBD or produce a completely different response.

A full-spectrum blend with more CBG or an equal ratio of CBG to CBD might be beneficial. You'll discover that there's a chance that you'll actually feel hungry and have an appetite. Finally, you can anticipate that upcoming meal.

People may think about incorporating CBG oil into their daily routine for a number of reasons. We'll examine just a few of the many advantages full-spectrum CBG oil seems to offer.

Antioxidants

CBG, along with other cannabinoids, appears to be a natural antioxidant in addition to having antibacterial properties. We can always opt for a healthy dose of antioxidants, of course. But there's another benefit to CBG having these characteristics.

Together with other cannabinoids, cannabigerol may aid in the prevention and/or treatment of a wide range of ailments linked to oxidative stress. The anti-oxidation properties of these hemp compounds help to delay the oxidation process.

"Free radicals" are what set off a series of events in the body that change or have an impact on other molecules in your cells.

This chain reaction is broken by antioxidants like CBG, limiting the harm that these free radicals can do.

How Do I Use CBG Oil?

You've either already bought or are considering buying CBG oil, but you're not exactly sure how to take it yet. There are really only a few ways to consume CBG oil, but some of them are much more efficient than others, so learning the differences is important if you want to reap the full rewards of your oil!

Here are the various dosage forms for CBG oil and how they compare so you can get the most out of it.

Sublingual Administration

It's safe to assume that you want your body to absorb as much cannabinoid as possible if you're taking CBG because you've heard about the variety of potential advantages it provides. In the end, isn't that the whole point of taking it?

Therefore, whenever someone asks us how to take CBG oil, we always suggest sublingual administration, which is just a fancy way of saying "under the tongue."

We advise taking CBG sublingually because doing so prevents the compound from being partially destroyed by your digestive system's gastric acid and intestinal/hepatic enzymes.

This is by far the best method of administration because it increases bioavailability as well as the speed at which CBG enters the bloodstream, causing the effects to manifest more quickly.

The CBG oil may taste earthy or bitter when taken sublingually, but if you can get past that minor inconvenience, the benefits are great.

Simply place a few drops of CBG oil on your tongue and hold it there until it dissolves to take it this way. 30 to 60 seconds ought to be adequate.

Capsule

Another way to consume CBG oil is in capsule form if the taste of the liquid bothers you a little. This method of taking CBG involves either ready-made purchasing capsules or buying empty capsule casings and making your own.

One thing to keep in mind about the oral administration of CBG is that it will need to pass through your digestive system, which means that some of it will, unfortunately, be broken down and lost. Consequently, compared to sublingual ingestion, your body won't absorb as much.

Food and Drink

Another way to get CBG oil into your system if you really don't like the taste and would prefer to avoid the hassle of capsules is to hide it in food or drink.

You can get a healthy dose of CBG by mixing some into fruit juice or a smoothie, and you won't even be aware that it's there. Another option is to sprinkle a few drops on a cookie or other sweet treat, which should effectively mask the taste.

CBG E-Liquid/Vape

It's probably a good time to mention that you can also vape cannabigerol now that we've discussed how to take CBG oil.

So this is another option if you vape or are interested in doing so.The bioavailability of CBG, when taken orally, varies between 25% and 40%, whereas vaping has been shown to provide 50% to 60%. Even as high as 80% has been suggested by some studies.

It's a popular option for people who want to naturally increase their motivation, energy, and productivity, whether at work, school, or elsewhere.

What are the Side Effects of CBG?

Although CBG is an old substance, adopting a healthy lifestyle is a relatively recent development. There hasn't been a lot of research on CBG's side effects because of the overwhelmingly positive response from those who use CBG-related products.

However, some people who use CBG frequently report feeling drained, having a dry mouth, or having a change in appetite.

It's crucial to keep in mind that CBG, which is used in skincare products, has a lower dosage and is less likely to have these side effects. For more information on the effects of CBG and how to use it in your daily skincare routine, visit our blog on applying face serum.

Although there haven't been enough human clinical trials to determine potential side effects, CBG is typically well tolerated. In fact, there were no significant negative or adverse effects in the few mouse clinical trials where high doses were used.

Is CBG Full-Spectrum?

Yes, defined as any hemp-derived product that contains a full spectrum of hemp's primary active ingredients, full-spectrum CBG is as close to nature's best as we can get. Full-spectrum CBG contains CBG and trace amounts of THC, CBD, CBN, terpenes, flavonoids, etc.

Should You Start Using CBG Oil?

Since every person is unique, we'll let you decide on this. You now have a better understanding of CBG's capabilities and what it can do for you.

A full-spectrum CBG oil will probably also contain CBD in addition to the CBG. We advise beginning a daily regimen of a full-spectrum extract that includes CBD, CBG, and other substances.

You'll eventually realize what hemp really has to offer. Expect to gain numerous advantages from CBG, CBD, and hemp in general in addition to those on this list.

Additionally, there are still some things to consider before ingesting, just like with anything else. Knowing whether and how CBG may interact with your current medications is crucial if you're taking any kind of medication.

To this extent, before including a full-spectrum CBG oil in your regimen, you should always confirm with your doctor.

Safety Precautions and Tips

Always inquire about the CBG product's quality from the company that sells it. Keep it in a cool, dark location. When breastfeeding or pregnant, avoid using it. Starting with small doses and being patient is the golden rule. Initially, 1 or 2 droppers of oil per day are sufficient. Increase the dosage once you become accustomed to it. There is no need to take a higher dose if you are happy with the results.
