Extraction

Ultra-Cold Ethanol Extraction

We exclusively extract hemp flower which is where the vast majority of cannabinoids and terpenes reside in the plant. These therapeutic compounds are selectively extracted using ultra-cold, food-grade ethanol. The ethanol is then removed through a series of vacuum-assisted distillations. This proprietary process was designed in-house by our team of chemical engineers.

Worked for me!

I am a cancer survivor now of 4 years & some of the immunotherapies I had to take seemed to trigger neuropathy in my feet and ankles. While Dr's have been giving me all sorts of nasty medicines to help with pain but doesn't fix the issue - the side effects are worse than the symptoms. One was even for Malaria!! After researching CBG more and then looking all over for it in a 1:1 form with CBD, (most have a lot of other additives), I found Batch and ordered the 1000 mg strength. I started taking this and noticed after only a few days that I was not waking up during the night with foot & ankle pains and haven't taken any Advil since I have taken the tincture now about 2 weeks. I am surprised that it helped this quick. Dumped the prescriptions that did more harm than good in my case. I did read that CBG/CBD is not to be used for everything so double check with your Dr.

The only downside is that it's $120/bottle so very expensive.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with our CBG Oil! We are so glad to hear that it has helped with your neuropathy and that you have been able to find relief from the side effects of other medications. We understand that the price may be a concern, but we are committed to providing high-quality and effective products. Thank you for choosing BATCH and we wish you continued health and wellness!

I will most likely get more.

First time user. Happy there are no side effects. Warm beverages are a better chaser as they break up the oil film in my mouth. Discovered I should start with a higher dose and take it on a schedule, in micro doses, in order to keep pain at bay. Thanks.

Excellent product and customer service

First of all, I just want to say that BEFORE I had placed an order, I had called them first just to ask for advice on which product to get. I spoke with Steve, and he was very helpful. I got my shipment fairly quickly. It was my first time trying CBG oil, or even CBD oil, and I was surprised at how pleasant I felt afterwards. I was able to relax yet still be productive, and I slept really well, with minimal neck/back pain like I usually do. Thank you guys so much!!

What Is CBG Oil?

CBG (cannabigerol) oil is a cannabinoid that originates from the cannabis plant. It’s often referred to as the “mother cannabinoid” because it’s the precursor from which other cannabinoids like THC and CBD are synthesized. Unlike THC, CBG does not have psychoactive properties, meaning it won’t make users feel “high.” As research into CBG expands, it's gaining attention for potential therapeutic effects like reducing inflammation, managing pain, and promoting mental clarity.

CBG oil is typically extracted from young cannabis plants where the CBG concentration is higher. In comparison to CBD, CBG is found in much smaller quantities, making it rarer and often more expensive. This oil is believed to interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system, which regulates various functions such as mood, sleep, and appetite. Many users are turning to CBG oil for its reported ability to promote focus, balance mood, and potentially address chronic pain without the mind-altering effects of THC.

How Does CBG Oil Work?

Interaction With The Endocannabinoid System (ECS)

CBG oil interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS), a network that helps regulate vital processes such as sleep, appetite, and mood. The ECS is composed of receptors, enzymes, and endocannabinoids that maintain balance, or homeostasis, in the body. CBG specifically binds to CB1 and CB2 receptors found in the brain and immune system. This binding process can influence pain, inflammation, and stress levels, helping the body better respond to these factors.

Binding To CB1 And CB2 Receptors

Unlike THC, which binds primarily to CB1 receptors in the brain and causes psychoactive effects, CBG interacts with both CB1 and CB2 receptors without creating a high. The activation of CB1 receptors can modulate pain sensation and influence mood, while CB2 receptor activation plays a role in immune responses. CBG’s ability to bind to both receptors provides various benefits, including pain relief, reduced inflammation, and enhanced mental clarity without psychoactive effects.

Influence On GABA Neurotransmitters

CBG also affects the body’s GABA neurotransmitter, which produces a calming effect. By inhibiting the breakdown of GABA, CBG promotes relaxation and can help reduce anxiety without causing sedation. This action makes CBG an appealing option for those looking to alleviate stress while staying alert and focused. Slowing the degradation of GABA may also contribute to improved mood and relaxation.

Therapeutic Potential

CBG’s unique interactions with the ECS and other systems in the body suggest it has a broad range of therapeutic benefits. Early research shows CBG may have anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and neuroprotective properties, making it useful for various health concerns. Studies are also investigating its potential to improve focus, reduce anxiety, and alleviate chronic pain. While more research is needed, the current findings suggest CBG oil could offer multiple health benefits without the psychoactive effects associated with other cannabinoids.

What Are The Benefits Of Using CBG Oil?

Pain Relief And Anti-Inflammatory Properties

One of the most significant advantages of CBG oil is its ability to relieve pain and reduce inflammation naturally. CBG interacts with the endocannabinoid system, which regulates various bodily functions, including pain sensation and immune response. This interaction makes CBG oil an appealing option for those suffering from chronic pain conditions, such as arthritis, muscle aches, and joint discomfort. Its anti-inflammatory properties also make it effective in addressing inflammation-related issues, contributing to better long-term management of these conditions. Furthermore, since CBG is non-psychoactive, users can enjoy the benefits without experiencing any intoxicating effects, making it a safer choice for daily use.

Improved Focus And Mental Clarity

CBG oil has been praised for its potential to enhance focus and mental clarity, offering different benefits than other cannabinoids like CBD. Unlike CBD, which promotes relaxation, CBG works by interacting with specific brain receptors that influence cognitive functions and mood. This interaction can improve concentration, sharper mental processing, and reduce feelings of brain fog. Many individuals use CBG oil to stay alert and mentally sharp during tasks that require sustained attention or cognitive effort. Its ability to improve mental clarity without causing sedation makes it an excellent choice for those looking to boost productivity naturally.

Anxiety And Stress Reduction

CBG oil has shown potential in reducing anxiety and stress, making it a popular choice for individuals seeking natural ways to manage their mental health. It achieves this by interacting with neurotransmitters like GABA, which help regulate the nervous system and promote a sense of calm. CBG works by inhibiting the breakdown of GABA, prolonging its calming effects, and reducing anxiety levels over time. Unlike other anti-anxiety remedies that can cause drowsiness or impair daytime functioning, CBG allows users to remain clear-headed while still enjoying a relaxed state. As a result, many turn to CBG oil as a solution for managing stress throughout the day without the risk of sedation.

Neuroprotective Properties

Research into CBG oil’s neuroprotective benefits is still in its early stages, but preliminary findings are promising. Studies suggest that CBG may help protect brain cells from damage, potentially slowing the progression of neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. CBG’s anti-inflammatory properties may also play a role in reducing brain inflammation, which is often associated with cognitive decline. By supporting overall brain health, CBG oil could contribute to maintaining cognitive function as we age, making it a potential preventative supplement for those concerned about long-term neurological health. While more research is needed, CBG is emerging as a promising tool in neuroprotection.

How Do You Use CBG Oil For The Best Results?

Sublingual Method For Fast Absorption

The most common and effective way to use CBG oil is by placing it sublingually (under the tongue). This method allows the oil to absorb directly into the bloodstream through the mucous membranes, offering faster effects than other methods. For best results, place the desired number of drops under your tongue and hold it there for 30-60 seconds before swallowing. This allows for quicker relief from pain, stress, or inflammation.

Starting With The Right Dosage

When starting with CBG oil, it’s essential to begin with a low dose and gradually increase until you find the right amount for your body. Each person’s endocannabinoid system reacts differently, so starting low and adjusting as needed helps you find the optimal dosage. Most people start with 5-10mg and adapt based on their feelings. Keeping track of your dosage and the effects can help you fine-tune the amount for maximum benefits.

Consistent Use For Cumulative Benefits

Like many natural supplements, CBG oil often provides cumulative benefits when used consistently. While you may experience immediate relief from stress or discomfort, using CBG oil daily or regularly can help maintain balance in the body and provide long-term support. Regular use can promote ongoing wellness by regulating mood, sleep, and inflammation, making it a valuable addition to your daily routine.

Combining With Other Cannabinoids

For enhanced results, some users combine CBG oil with CBD or other cannabinoids, as they work synergistically to provide a broader range of benefits. This is known as the "entourage effect," where the combined cannabinoids boost each other’s therapeutic potential. Combining CBG with other cannabinoids can enhance the oil’s impact on both physical and mental health, depending on the specific benefits you're seeking.

What Should You Look For When Buying CBG Oil?

Source Of Hemp

When selecting CBG oil, one of the most critical factors is the source of the hemp used in its production. Hemp grown organically without pesticides or synthetic chemicals ensures a cleaner and safer product. U.S.-grown hemp is often considered a better option due to the country’s stricter farming regulations, ensuring higher standards. Purchasing from a brand that uses non-GMO, organic hemp guarantees you’re investing in a high-quality product with fewer contaminants.

Extraction Method

The extraction method used to obtain the CBG oil significantly impacts its quality and purity. CO2 extraction is considered the gold standard because it efficiently isolates cannabinoids without the need for harmful solvents. This method preserves the integrity of the cannabinoids, resulting in a more potent and pure oil. Avoid oils extracted with chemicals like butane or ethanol, as they may leave harmful residues that compromise the product's safety and effectiveness.

Potency And Purity

Another key factor is the potency and purity of the CBG oil, which should be verified through third-party lab testing. Reputable brands provide a Certificate of Analysis (COA) that details the cannabinoid content and ensures the product is free from harmful contaminants like heavy metals, pesticides, or molds. Always check the lab results to confirm that the oil contains the advertised levels of CBG and that it's free from potentially harmful substances.

Additional Ingredients

CBG oils contain additional ingredients like carrier oils or flavorings to improve absorption and taste. For example, oils mixed with MCT or hemp seed oil enhance bioavailability, helping your body absorb the CBG more effectively. However, it’s essential to choose products that use natural ingredients and avoid artificial additives, which can reduce the quality or safety of the oil. Ensuring that the ingredients are all-natural and beneficial enhances the product's overall effectiveness.

How Does CBG Oil Work With Other Cannabinoids?

The Entourage Effect

The entourage effect is a remarkable phenomenon in which cannabinoids like CBG, CBD, and THC collaborate to boost each other’s effects. This interaction results in more powerful therapeutic outcomes, providing broader relief for conditions such as pain, inflammation, and anxiety. When used together, these compounds enhance one another’s benefits. By incorporating multiple cannabinoids, users often experience more well-rounded and balanced effects than they would with just one. The entourage effect highlights the value of using a variety of cannabinoids to optimize health benefits.

CBG And CBD: Complementary Cannabinoids

CBG and CBD are frequently combined because of their complementary therapeutic effects, forming a balanced and effective blend. CBG is primarily known for supporting mood, focus, and pain relief, while CBD is valued for its calming, anti-inflammatory, and anxiety-reducing properties. When used together, these cannabinoids boost each other’s benefits, providing mental clarity and relaxation. This combination is particularly beneficial for individuals seeking cognitive support alongside stress relief. By complementing each other, CBG and CBD can address a wide range of both physical and emotional needs.

CBG And THC: Balancing Psychoactivity

Though CBG is non-psychoactive, it plays a significant role in moderating the effects of THC, which is known for its psychoactive properties. CBG interacts with the CB1 and CB2 receptors in the body, helping to temper the more intense psychoactive effects of THC. This results in a smoother, more controlled experience for the user. For those seeking the benefits of THC without overwhelming intoxication, adding CBG can create a balanced effect. Together, they offer a more comfortable and manageable cannabis experience.

Full-Spectrum And Broad-Spectrum Formulas

Full-spectrum and broad-spectrum formulas are popular in CBG products because they offer a range of cannabinoids working together. Full-spectrum formulas include trace amounts of THC, CBD, CBG, and terpenes, while broad-spectrum formulas remove THC but retain other cannabinoids. Both options capitalize on the entourage effect, allowing users to experience the synergistic benefits of multiple compounds. These formulas aim to provide a more comprehensive therapeutic experience, maximizing the health benefits of each cannabinoid for well-rounded relief.

CBG Oil For Targeted Relief

CBG oil is increasingly recognized for its ability to provide targeted relief for specific health concerns. Whether used alone or in combination with other cannabinoids, CBG is effective for addressing issues such as pain, inflammation, and digestive problems. Its unique properties make it a valuable addition to wellness routines that enhance physical and mental well-being. By interacting with the body’s endocannabinoid system, CBG promotes balance and health. CBG oil can offer significant benefits for those seeking natural relief when used as part of a holistic approach.
